New Robotic Telescope (NRT) – Telescope Pier & Foundations

M3 was tasked with preparing a preliminary structural analysis (30% design completion) for the proposed Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) New Robotic Telescope (NRT) to be built at the Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory (ORM) site in the Canary Islands.  M3 provided structural engineering and construction cost estimating services for the telescope pier and enclosure foundations.
