390th Memorial Museum Renovation

Located on the grounds of the Pima Air and Space Museum, the 390th Memorial Museum has been faithfully dedicated to the memory of those who fought in World War II as part of the 390th Bombardment Group. As the museum enters into the future without the first-hand knowledge and service from the veterans of the 390th, the renovation project is a rededication to that memory.

Housed initially in a single span hangar to exhibit a B-17 bomber, the recent museum renovation project significantly updated and expanded the aging facility with new exhibition and research spaces, and a museum entrance to create an identity for the museum in attracting new visitors, ensuring that the narrative in telling the story of the men of the 390th remains relevant to future generations.

M3 provided complete master planning, programming, architectural, engineering, and exhibition design services.
