ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER 

The successful candidate will have responsibility for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) such as Navisworks and Revit to develop architectural design solutions in 3D format.  Understand engineering and architectural construction documents and prepare materials take offs using BIM.  Apply knowledge of building codes & standards governing the design and construction of buildings in the United States and Latin America while supporting engineers by preparing layouts, detailed drawings, sketches and diagrams as required for presentations and animations.

Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and 3 years of a combination of architectural design and drafting experience.  Must also have experience (i) meeting with clients to gather data for programming purposes in order to prepare a complete set of architectural design drawings (ii) collaborating with engineers of all disciplines on steel framing and concrete foundation designs, and (iii) preparing and submitting construction documents for permits to the corresponding governing jurisdictions.  Must be available to travel internationally to attend meetings and visit project sites.

Candidate will design for mechanical systems for hard rock ore mining projects including conveyors, bins, hoppers, chutes, etc.  Will create, review, coordinate, and facilitate the work with the project team to meeting deliverable deadlines. An AA degree in drafting or appropriate discipline with minimum five years of experience in an applicable environment; industrial, mining or consulting. Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit and MS Office software is required. Must be able to travel to other M3 offices and project sites as needed. Bilingual – English and Spanish is preferred. Must be a self-starter, detailed-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. Must communicate clearly and interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner along with the ability to work in a team environment with limited supervision.

MECHANICAL DRAFTER

Candidate will assist in the design, development and production of mechanical construction drawings for industrial projects with focus on piping and process systems. Responsibilities include creating 3D models of components, routing pipe, preparing plans, sections and isometrics.  Will work with designers and engineers to complete project deliverables and various task as required by the project for the client. Candidate must have a minimum of two years relevant experience; solid understanding of industry drafting standards. Candidate will have excellent communication skills and be detailed oriented. A minimum of a high school diploma; an Associate’s Degree, in drafting or related discipline strongly preferred. Fluent in English, both oral and written; the ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred but not required. Revit experience is required and Plant 3D experience is a plus.
